This tea comes from 200 year old tea trees in the wilds of North Vietnam, it is processed naturally by local, tribal people who maintain a traditional lifestyle. This tea is part of their ancient tradition.
The tea is scented by placing fresh jasmine buds on the processed tea, at night the jasmine buds open releasing their scent deep into the leaves. The process is repeated for 5 nights, leaving the most heavenly scent. The tea has a structured woody note due to the age of the trees which is balanced beautifully by the sappy flavours of the spring harvest and the stunning jasmine aroma.
